"Although I went to pick up the Arthritis Society's material at the end of the event, I attended the event mostly as a member of the public.

From my point of view, I thought the display tables were very informative; I got my hearing tested in a van outside the Arts Centre. Most tables received entries for door prizes, which always creates interest; there was a variety of health related organizations as well as private businesses selling their products. Unfortunately I wasn't there all that long to take full advantage.

The Arthritis Society's table was staffed with knowledgeable volunteers and information on display was adequate. I feel sometimes that it is good to have a few disease specific brochures available for people should they ask.

I feel it is always worthwhile to attend events like this. The more exposure given to arthritis the better."
