About PACS

Peace Arch Community Services

Peace Arch Community Services Society was incorporated in 1978 and is the primary provider of social support services on the Semiahmoo Peninsula.  Our mandate is to identify a broad spectrum of human needs on the Semiahmoo Peninsula and beyond and respond to them in a creative, caring and fiscally responsible way. This is achieved by providing information, services, advocacy and working with other individuals, groups and organizations in a way that promotes involvement, self-reliance and expresses a spirit of community.

Peace Arch Community Services provides programs for special needs infants and their families, a residential treatment program for adolescents and their families, an emergency receiving program for adolescents, residential and community based programs for adults with developmental disabilities, an outpatient alcohol and drug program, an employment program, family outreach programs, individual and family counseling services, the PACS Food Bank, information and referral services, volunteer services, support groups and effective July 1, 2004 new MCFD funded programs.
